Soft Return opened its doors at Youthful Vengeance on October 4th, marking a night that celebrated rhythm, material, and memory through the art of looping. Curated by Deirdre McIntosh, the exhibition showcased Alexandria Masse’s intricate textile works — crocheted and knitted forms that blur the line between sculpture and painting. Each piece captured something ephemeral made tangible, transforming softness into structure and repetition into reflection.
The opening night invited guests to slow down and experience Masse’s world of colour and texture. The evening featured an intimate artist interview, a hauntingly beautiful dance performance by Anna Forrest, and DJ sets by SAMIAM and Shear that carried the energy late into the night.
Soft Return remains on view at Youthful Vengeance until November 14th, 2025 — a tactile reminder of how process, patience, and material can tell stories of quiet transformation.
